Boddys Baths. It was home to
the Windsor Swimming Club,
founded in 1883, with a
clubhouse on the island.
There are earlier references to
‘the Windsor and Eton
Swimming Club’, which had
thirty-six members in 1881,
but Leslie says this was a
water polo club.
