there swimming and a police
officer called out, “are you
coming in, sir?” I said, “yes,
soon, officer”, and I swam on
a bit longer. As I got out the
police officer said, “are you
aware, sir, that this is a killer
river?” Well, I told him it
wasn’t and we had a chat and
we left the best of friends.’
