To draw out insects from cauliflower and green vegetables, soak
them in vinegar and water for ten minutes;

For nuts or seeds used to garnish cakes, dip them in milk first so
they will not get dislodged during baking (try with hemp milk);

In any recipes requiring chopped dried fruits, use scissors dipped
in hot water and substitute 1 tsp baking powder for quarter
teaspoon soda bicarbonate plus 2 tbsp of vinegar or lemon juice;

If you do need to fry your vegetables or foods, place vegetables in
the hot pan before oil is added to protect the oil from burning
which helps support your health and well being.

The key to hemp cookery is not to overpower dishes with strong
texture or taste, but rather to integrate the more subtle aspects of
hemp's nutty flavour and various enjoyable textures as found in
the whole, coarsely or finely ground seed, in the 'meat of the
seed', in the oil or in the creamy milk, in a gentle balance with
other ingredients.

This cannot be recommended. The problem with heating any oil
beyond 95°C is that the EFAs are destroyed. What can be done?
Should we all become fruitarians, and only eat raw food? It is
worth considering that the more you cook anything, the less you
will gain nutritionally by consuming it. Think of all the time you
would save in cooking, as well as your own personal energy
savings for other, more leisurely uses.

Adding hemp seeds or oil to a dish after cooking alleviates
this problem, though lightly cooked or roasted seeds are very tasty
