Make the time to carefully prepared recipes as described
later in this book. If this is a new concept then try one recipe a
week instead of a trip to the restaurant or fast food outlet. Many of
the recipes can be made quickly, after the first attempt. Often, if
we are used to healthy meals when we stare into the back of the
refrigerator without finding a healthy snack in sight then it is time

Healing foods may take time to have an affect on the
body. Be patient and do not have overly high expectations, as
disappointment often offends. It is not as simple as using foods to
heal yourself from all your diseases. There is more involved, and
these will be explored further on. The effects can be dramatic –
old problems disappearing, your body eliminating old and new
toxins, so be prepared, be aware. Use all the information
available. This offers a variety of possible benefits, including extra
energy, vitality and more of a will to live. It is not as easy as
visiting your doctor and being told to take a pill that a chemical
company has told him to sell, but from my research these natural
methods work on a longer-term basis and affect the whole being.

Greeks (figs and fresh milk), Mongols (sour milk) and romans
(whole wheat bread and onions). They are of more interest than
the latest diets claiming ‘20lbs in ten days’ (chemical powders,
complicated books and processed foods). These ancient
civilizations were not nutritional experts; they just ate simple,
fresh, untreated foods – the basis to most of the recipes contained
