1. An object continues in a state of rest or uniform motion unless acted on by
an external force.
- The resultant force acting on an object is pro p o rtional to the rate of change of
momentum of the object, the change of momentum being in the same dire c t i o n
as the forc e. - To every force or action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
