- Distribute to each group of two the following materials: GOES image and two blank
t r a n s p a rencies, world map, two diff e rent colored transparency pens, work sheet.
A l t e rnating groups should have GOES images for opposite seasons of the year.
- Direct the students to complete steps #1–3 on their worksheet.
- Pair each group with another group that has a GOES image for the opposite
season of the year.
- Complete steps #4 and #5 of the procedure with the class.
