Hai, Mo Li—Male—Central Asia
Mo Li Hai is the Chinese Buddhism guard-
ian of the West. His statue is often included at
the west point of Buddhist temples. In the
modern practice of Feng Shui, his statue is
placed in the west most part of a home to pro-
tect from negative influences coming from that
direction. In Wiccan ritual, he is one of the
names for the Four Quarters, the other three
being Hung, Shou, and Chung.

Hindu goddess associated with the Aja
