Mithras. Animal sacrifice was paid to him,
most often in the form of a bull. Those sacri-
fices were thought to assure fertility to the
land. This reinforces the Wiccan belief that

statuary is most likely a representation of the
three faces of a much earlier deity form,
Vadjra.
