What To Do:
- Assemble equipment:
- Prep area.
- Each digit is supplied with two pairs of nerves: dorsal and palmar in the hand, and dorsal and plantar
in the foot. - Insert the needle in the dorsal aspect of the digit at the level of the metacarpal (metatarsal) head.
- Advancing the needle in the palmar (plantar) direction, inject 1-2 mls of local anesthetic on each side
