Zone Numbers They consist of numbers and letters on the border of a drawing to provide reference
points to aid in indicating or locating specific points on the drawing.
Zoning The legal restriction that deems that parts of cities be for particular uses, such as residential,
commercial, industrial and so forth.
Zoning Permit A permit issued by appropriate governmental authority authorizing land to be used
for a specific purpose.
