8.Use the file or sanding pad to eliminate any
burs or rough edges left from drilling the
holes into the fish shapes.
9.Use the ruler to measure the chain into 3/4”
pieces. Use the wire cutters to cut the chain
and then set these pieces aside.
10.Apply liver of sulfur or an oxidizing solution
to the fish shapes, chain, and oval jump
rings. It is very important to follow any safety
recommendations the manufacturer suggests
when using any chemicals.
11.After oxidizing the various pieces, use fine
steel wool to remove some but not all of the
oxidizing solution from the surface of the
fish shapes, jump rings, and chain. Rinse
with water, dry, and rub with polishing cloth.
