1.Slide the beads onto the head pin.

Ruler

Marker

Wire cutters or tin snips

Two pairs of chain nose pliers

Round nose pliers

MATERIALS NEEDED

One 1H” head pin (base metal)
Assorted beads
One sterling silver jump ring (pictured is round
16-gauge 5 mm × 3.2 mm)
Sterling silver chain with clasp

2.Use the ruler to measure and mark^5 ⁄ 16 ”

above the top bead on the head pin. With

the wire cutters or tin snips, cut the head

pin wire^5 ⁄ 16 ” above the top bead.
