Modern Chandelier Earrings Chapter 3
13.Using the chain nose pliers, gently open the
loop at the bottom of the ear wire. Slide the
center loop of the curved memory wire onto
the ear wire and then close the loop of the
ear wire.
14.Repeat these steps for the second earring.
You can experiment with different lengths of wire
and mix up your bead sizes. You can add length to
the earring by using an eye pin or bar component
between the ear wire and the center loop of the
curved memory wire.
The beads used to create the earrings in this
chapter were purchased from BeadforLife.
These beautiful beads are made from colorful
scraps of paper by Ugandan women. This
project, featured on Oprah, NBC News, and
in many magazines, is a wonderful effort to
partner with hard-working Ugandans to lift
their families out of extreme poverty.
The beads themselves are inexpensive and
beautiful. BeadforLife also sells finished
pieces on their web site, http://www.BeadforLife.org.
Visit the web site—buy the beads. It is a
great way to help people leave extreme
poverty behind.
“If eyes were made for seeing, then
Beauty is its own excuse for being.”
