9.Using a^1 ⁄ 16 ” drill bit, drill holes into each of
the silver rectangles with a handheld rotary
tool, flex shaft, or drill press. Remember to
wear safety glasses.10.Use the file or sanding pad to eliminate any
burs or rough edges left from drilling holes
into the silver rectangles.8.Put on the safety glasses. Place the textured
silver rectangles onto a hard, flat surface.
Place the point of the awl on the marks that
you made^1 ⁄ 16 ” from the end of the rectangle
pieces and use a hammer to firmly strike
once on the top of the awl to make the pilot
holes for drilling the holes into the silver
rectangles.
