Søren S. Sørensen is an Architect and Assistant Professor at AHO Oslo, Norway. He studied architecture
at NTH (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway with final diploma in 1982. He is a practicing architect and project
leader employed by some of the most important architectural offices in Norway until 1996. During this
period he had one year of Urban studies on an Italian State scholarship in Rome, an assignment with
UNHCR in Hong Kong and established and ran a gallery of contemporary art in Oslo, Norway. From 1996
he is a freelance architect/own practice and employed at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, AHO.
Assistant Professor with responsibility for teaching digital architecture and the implementation of digital
technology in the educational curriculum at AHO since 1997. He is in charge of the research on Virtual
and Augmented Reality at AHO with an ongoing PhD within the field of Architectural Representation and
Augmented Reality.
