Those snack foods in 100-calorie packages may not help you lose
weight. That's because if you're not full after finishing the package, you
are likely to open another package, say researchers who study satiety.
You will be better off, nutritionists say, if you consume snacks that are
high in protein and fiber, like cheese, lean meat, and whole grain bread,
and foods with high water volume, like fruits and vegetables, which
keep you full with fewer calories.
