Chili's Cajun Chicken Pasta
Serve up a spicy dinner with this hot and creamy linguini tossed with chicken strips sautéed with
Cajun seasoning.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 2
2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into strips
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1–2 cups heavy cream
¼ teaspoon dried basil
¼ teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
4 ounces cooked linguine or fettuccine
Grated Parmesan cheese, to taste
1. Place chicken and Cajun seasoning in a resealable plastic bag. Rub and shake to coat the
chicken well.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the chicken. Cook about 5–7
minutes, then reduce the heat.
3. Add the cream and seasonings. Stir for 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
4. Add the pasta and toss. Heat for another 5 minutes. Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
