Sun Opposite Moon: You may find yourself torn between two loves or passions, a love of the

past versus the future, mother versus father, a younger crowd versus an older crowd. A basic

antagonism of home and surroundings against the need to grow, progress, and push on.

Sun Trine, Sextile, or Semi-Sextile Moon: A special affinity for old people and for children,

plus an innate love of animals, the helpless, and the underdog. An inner vision coupled with

the ability to see the “big” picture often finds you working as a go-between with others.

Sun Square, Semi-Square, or Sesqui-Square Moon: You are sometimes torn between a desire

to progress and be all that you can be versus a tendency to dwell in the past, resting on your

laurels. Your inner, more domestic side struggles against authority. You could feel caught in the

middle.

Sun Conjunct Mercury: You are very bright, and you may be very proud of your mind and all

that it can do. You have a high degree of concentration that makes you an excellent student

and able to excel in speaking, writing, and all types of communication skills.

Sun Opposite Mercury: You have a lot of mental energy and ideas, some of which could be

counterproductive or go against your own future interests. Arguments with authorities or more

experienced people may find you having to control your tongue and temper your thoughts.

Sun Trine, Sextile, or Semi-sextile Mercury: You have a bright, quick mind that is able to get

the idea or “big” picture right off. Ever concerned with bringing things down to earth and

understanding how things work, you have a natural talent for organization and practical ideas.

Sun Square, Semi-square, or Sesqui-square Mercury: You probably say things despite your-

self that you regret later. Your ideas and words may get you into trouble now and again, or work

against your own best interest. The mental (in all its forms) is something you find more diffi-

cult than easy.

Sun Conjunct Venus: You have excellent taste and could be expert in all matters of art and

discrimination. You can always pick out the valuable and worthwhile. You value and appreci-

ate all that is fine and beautiful. Perhaps an interest in older people or authority.

Sun Opposite Venus: You may not always appreciate yourself or your sense of values, and the

things you like may be counterproductive or run against your own best interests. You may not

care for authority figures or those more experienced than you.

Sun Trine, Sextile, or Semi-sextile Venus: An obvious sense of love, understanding, and

compassion for others is present. This is coupled with a real feel for the arts (music, poetry,

painting, and the like) and also a sensitivity for matters of value and of the heart.

Sun Square, Semi-square, or Sesqui-square Venus: Your cravings get you in trouble now and

again. You appreciate things that are not always in your own best interest. Your ambition and

drive to grow and progress may sometimes be at the expense of your value system, your sense of

beauty, and the like.
