Lodge, which is a registered charity, was founded by the modern father of English astrology,
Alan Leo, on July 13, 1915, at 19.15 hrs. GMT in North London, and for many years was
under the presidency of the great Charles E. O. Carter and Ronald C. Davison. Historically it
is the parent body of the Faculty of Astrological Studies, the Astrological Association, and
more recently the Company of Astrologers. Its journal, Astrology Quarterly,more commonly
known as the Quarterly,is one of the finest in the field.
