and make it

difficult to add

more layers.

Let some

of the

background

show through.

Use the flat side of a pastel

to block in areas of sky.

Add a fine layer to

indicate clouds.

Lightly stroke a fine layer over

the trees, meadow, and along

the path using two shades of

green to add contrast.
