196 Who Do You Think You Are?
just the drugs that I was addicted to. I was addicted to anything that was
negative and pretty much destroying what I thought I wasn’t. So, I think
the big event for me would be putting away drugs, actually changing my
lifestyle, and wanting to live.
If you could give advice to those who are still searching for their
life’s purpose, what would it be?
I don’t like to give advice. What I can do is express what I’ve been
through, but if someone is actually searching for a long-term solution,
and not just something to get through the night, I think my suggestion to
them would be to seek and find their spiritual center. Whether that’s
through a religion or through a journey into nature, or whether that’s
through a practitioner of spiritual awareness, a church, or a guru. Whatever
it takes, find that spiritual connection. Once that connection is made
(which is what turned it around for me), that awareness of the spiritual
connection that has always been there, my suggestion would be this:
seek ye first the kingdom that is already within you and all the rest shall
be added unto you in your experience. It is already is there, it’s just a
matter of awareness.
