Parenting and family life can be a perfect field for
mindfulness practice, but it's not for the weak-
hearted, the selfish or lazy, or the hopelessly
romantic. Parenting is a mirror that forces you to look
at yourself. If you can learn from what you observe,
you just may have a chance to keep growing yourself.


Once the realization is accepted that even between
the closest human beings infinite distances continue
to exist, a wonderful living side by side can grow up,
if they succeed in loving the distance between them
which makes it possible for each to see the other
whole against the sky.
