The Lights and Planets
The Moon
The Moon, not even a planet, is the caretaker of Earth.
She spends her time shuttling from the inside the earth's
orbit to the outside, and back. The Moon reflects the
light of the Sun as would a great mirror, lighting up the
night of our lives, endlessly redistributing the solar light
throughout her phases. She is the great mother, the
nurturer, and the womb from which all life arises. The
Moon holds many mysteries, some of which we will go
into in another section. Next to the Sun, the Moon is the
most important body in the heavens for us.
