The Home Office
Many of us start doing astrology wherever we can, here
and there, as time and place permit, sort of a "Have
Charts, Will Travel" sort of affair; sooner or later, though,
most of us find that having a special spot to do our
readings in is better. It could just be me, but for me
there is something appealing about setting aside an
area of one’s house, or the corner of an office, for doing
astrology. It just feels right.
Besides, astrology requires a fair amount (and
sometimes a lot!) of preparation work—what with many
charts, lists of transits, maps, and so forth. In the years
during which I was doing readings or consultations full-
time, I had a separate office just for this kind of work.
Even today, when I am involved in many other things, I
still like to do readings in a corner of my current office.
