Learn to Apply Health Lessons from History


Premature hardening of the arteries was observed even
as early as the Korean War, when 350 soldiers were closely
examined after death. These were young men, between
the ages of 18 and 28. The autopsies revealed that all of them
had a certain amount of hardening in their arteries! There
is little doubt that these young men had, since childhood,
been fed on the typical unhealthy (S.A.D.) American diet.
They ate meals high in fats, meats, cereals, desserts and
other highly processed foods. Their devitalized, highly
refined diet was heavily loaded with salt, saturated fats and
refined white sugar. (Widely used today is aspartame, a toxic

Many doctors and studies agree refined white sugar, salt
and saturated fats lead to heart conditions, hardening of
the arteries and premature ageing.
All of their lives these young men had been fed on
commercially hardened fats of all kinds. They had all eaten
smoked and brine-cured meats such as bacon, ham, sausage,
luncheon meats and all the other kinds of preserved meats.
They were also heavy users of processed, fast foods
containing table salt (a harmful inorganic sodium) and toxic
preservatives. The naturally occurring organic sodium found
in foods, seaweeds, kelp, dulse, etc. are the best source!
(Celtic salt in small amounts is acceptable if desired.)

Why Does Premature Ageing Happen?


In other words, these young soldiers grew up on a
diet of hardened fats, cholesterol and toxin-producing
foods. As a result of their unhealthy diet they started to
develop cardiovascular degenerative disease before the
age of 30! Remember, clogging of the human pipe system
can start when a youngster! This is the reason why many
people prematurely age! It’s sad that people age way
before their time. In our world travels we find many
people who look and act 20 to 30 years older than their
chronological age! Why? It’s their unhealthy lifestyles!
