Question: Can a man who does hard physical labor live on
The Bragg Healthy Lifestyle – The Toxicless Diet, Body
Purification and Healing System and still keep up his strength?
Answer: Eating heavy food does not produce physical
strength. This is an old wives’ tale that seems to live on.
Many of our students do the hardest physical labor, yet
they thrive on The Bragg Healthy Lifestyle. They have
no heavy breakfast, only fruit. For lunch they may take
several whole grain sandwiches and some raw nuts,
seeds, vegetables and fruits, or a lunch of salads plus
dried fruits and nuts. Some take a container of whole
grain pasta or bean salad. We both have tested ourselves
with hard physical labor and outside of eating a few more
nuts and sunflower seeds – found we can work twelve
hours and still feel peppy. It’s a clean body that has
strength and energy, not a body over-stuffed with heavy
foods! We can climb high mountains even on only water
or fresh fruits, trail-mix, nuts and dried fruits.
Question: When I eat raw fruits and vegetables they bloat me
up with gas. I belch and pass a lot of wind. Onions, green peppers
and cucumbers especially. Why do these do this to me?
Answer: That shows you are loaded with toxic poisons.
