Network virtualization gateways allow virtual networks to communicate with
external networks and can increase security and functionality through components
such as the datacenter firewall and software load balancer.Where possible, utilize network virtualization for its flexibility and relative ease of
configuration. However, for some types of networks, such as management networks, it
will still be common to use more traditional isolation methods such as VLAN
technologies.
