FEATURE AND OFFLOAD SUPPORT

Windows Server  2016    has many    features    and offloads    available   and three   types   of

virtual switch  environments:   native  VMSwitch,   VMSwitch    with    SDNv1,  and

VMSwitch    with    SDNv2   (also   Microsoft   Azure   Stack). The exact   features    and

offloads    that    work    with    the three   types   of  virtualization  networking  are not

always  obvious.    Microsoft   has a   great   chart,  shown   in  Figure  3.46,   that    outlines

these   features    and offloads.   I   use this    as  a   constant    reference.
