This connection could be made from a Hyper-V host to access storage or from within
your virtual machine. The benefit of iSCSI is that multiple iSCSI Initiators can connect
to the same iSCSI target, which would enable shared storage and numerous failover
cluster scenarios within the virtual machines.
Considerations for Using iSCSI
