The VHD Set will    be  seen    as  shared  storage in  the same    way as  the Windows Server
2012    R2  style   Shared  VHDX,   except  the previously  three   mentioned   restrictions    that
limited the use of  Shared  VHDX    will    be  removed.    If  you upgrade Windows Server
2012    R2  hosts   to  Windows Server  2016,   there   is  no  automatic   conversion  from    shared
VHDX    to  VHD Sets,   and the old restrictions    will    still   apply.  You need    to  convert the
shared  VHDX    manually    to  a   VHD Set to  enable  the support for dynamic resize, Hyper-
V   Replica,    and host-level  backup. The process to  convert this    is  as  follows:
1 . Turn    off the VMs that    are connected   to  the Shared  VHDX.
2 . Remove  the shared  VHDX    from    the VMs by  using   Remove-VMHardDiskDrive  or
