Server action available on the Hyper-V Manager root navigation menu root in the
navigation pane. From Windows 10 or Windows Server 2016 Hyper-V Manager, the
Select Computer dialog box also has the Connect As Another User option, and the Set
User button enables an alternate credential to be specified, as shown in Figure 5.14.
You will need to perform this when managing from a Windows 10 client because, by
default, no Hyper-V servers will be shown. In previous versions of Windows, there
were various manual tasks to perform on the Hyper-V server to enable remote
management, but this is no longer necessary; all configurations for remote
management are enabled by default.
