aperMatcherTM is a publication of the
American Forest & Paper Association
(AF&PA), the national trade association
P of the U.S. paper and forest products
industry.
This is the third edition of PaperMatcherTM,
one of many publications and resources
AF&PA has produced to foster and expand
paper recovery and recycling.
America’s paper companies are fully
committed to maximizing recycling and
minimizing the amount of paper that ends
up in landfills. Central to the recycling
effort is the industry’s goal to recover -
for recycling and reuse - 50 percent of all
the paper Americans use in the year 2000.
PaperMatcherTM is designed to help
individuals, groups and communities
identify markets for recovered paper. The
directory lists the names and addresses of
paper mills known to utilize recovered
paper as a raw material; recovered paper
dealers who sort, pack and sell recovered
paper to paper mills; and recycling centers
that accept recovered paper.
AF&PA has attempted to compile as
comprehensive a list as possible of mills,
recovered paper dealers and recycling
centers. However, all information in
PaperMatcherTM is subject to change, and
it is advisable to consult the most current
telephone directory for additions, deletions,
new addresses, etc. Please notify the
American Forest & Paper Association,
11 11 19th Street, NW, Suite 800,
Washington, DC 20036, with new or
updated information that should be
included in future PaperMatcherTM listings.
