Gilmore, a senior forward at Harvard, scored the game-winning goal in a 5–4 defeat of
Boston College, guiding the Crimson to their first women’s Beanpot title since 2015. Named
the tournament MVP and Eastern College Athletic Conference player of the week, Gilmore
leads Harvard with a team-high 25 assists and 43 points through 29 games.

Baran, a senior distance runner at Johns Hopkins, ran a 4:40.53 mile
at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge’s USA Invitational, breaking the
17-year-old Division III women’s record. In 2021, she placed second in
the 1,500- and 5,000-meter outdoor NCAA D-III championships.
