YO U SAY

Acaster and Lycett (C4, 8.30pm)

In Extraordinary Portraits (BBC1) on Sunday
evenings, Tinie Tempah introduces, with great
sensitivity, a portrait artist to a potential sitter
whose beauty is not of the conventional variety.
We’ve seen, among others, an albino woman
from a black family and someone else whose
skin was over 90% grafted from members of her
family after she nearly died in a terrible fire. We
are shown how the artists get to know the sitters,
then prepare how they will work, and then the
astonishingly good and perceptive results.
