Fortune-tellers use different ways to

make you think they have special powers.

They might read your palm, stare into a

crystal ball, or tell you about yourself

using tarot cards. While people want to

believe that what they are being told is

true, a fortune-teller’s real skill is being

able to talk very generally and make

the most of any reaction from the

person they are “reading.”
