If you ever talk to somebody that has back-packed alone round the world you‟ll
notice it‟s the interaction with other people that make the great stories.
The amazing explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes has spent months, probably years, on
his own, walking, climbing, sailing, running and flying round the world. He‟s one
of a select group of people to have climbed Everest and visited both Poles, yet
what does he do when he gets home from each expedition?
He gets out and talks about it. He shares his stories with other people, because
that‟s what people do and when we deprive ourselves of that ability the events
themselves seem less enjoyable after the fact.
