Cut Fabrics
Cut pieces in the following order.
Patterns A and B are on Pattern
Sheet 1. To make templates of
patterns, see “Make and Use Templates”
on Pattern Sheet 2. Be sure to transfer
all dots from the patterns to the
fabric pieces. The dots are matching
points used when joining pieces.
From light blue print, cut:
- 13—2×42" strips
From cream print, cut: - 48—2×42" strips
- 120—3^7 ⁄ 8 " squares
- 60—3^1 ⁄ 2 " squares
- 244 of Pattern B
From dark blue print, cut: - 13—2×42" strips
From tan print, cut: - 31—4^1 ⁄ 4 " squares, cutting each
diagonally twice in an X for 124
triangles total (you will use 122) - 122 each of patterns A and A reversed
From brown print, cut: - 31—4^1 ⁄ 4 " squares, cutting each
diagonally twice in an X for 124
triangles total (you will use 122) - 122 each of patterns A and A reversed
From red print, cut: - 10—2^1 ⁄ 2 ×42" binding strips
- 22—2×42" strips
- 120—3^7 ⁄ 8 " squares
Finished Quilt: 991/2" square
Finished Blocks: 9" square
Yardages and cutting
