STITCH GUIDE
Front post double crochet decrease
(FPdc dec): FPdc around next 2 sts at
the same time.

Back post double crochet decrease
(BPdc dec): BPdc around next 2 sts at
the same time.

Decrease rib (dec rib): Following BPdc,
work FPdc dec (see above); following FPdc,
work BPdc dec (see above)—1 st dec’d.

Join with single crochet (sc-join):
Make slipknot and place lp on hook, insert
hook in indicated st, yo, pull up a lp, yo,
draw through 2 lps on hook.

Net patt (multiple of 8 sts + 6)
Row 1: Sc in 9th ch from hook (skipped ch
count as dc, ch 3, 2 skipped ch), [ch 1, sk
next ch, sc in next ch, ch 3, sk next 2 ch,

[100 g]; ): #CW120 honey
butter, 4 (5, 6, 6, 7) skeins.
HOOK Size L/11 (8 mm). Adjust
hook size if necessary to obtain
correct gauge.
NOTIONS Removable stitch markers
(m), 4; yarn needle.
GAUGE 2 reps and 9 rows = 4½ " in
net patt; 13 sts and 10 rows = 4"
in rib patt.

3, 2): Rep Row 1. Row 6 (5, 4, 4, 3) (inc):
Ch 1, 2 esc in first st, esc across to last st,
2 esc in last st, turn—2 sts inc’d. Rows
7 (6, 5, 5, 4)–30 (35, 32, 36, 36): Cont
working even in esc, rep Inc row every
6th (5th, 4th, 4th, 3rd) row 4 (6, 7, 8, 11)
times—38 (42, 46, 50, 58) sts at end of
last row.

Work even in esc until sleeve measures
15" from ribbing, ending with a WS row.
Fasten off.

COLLAR
Row 1: With smaller hook, ch 29, sc in
2nd ch from hook and in each rem ch
across, turn—28 sc. Rows 2–306 (314,
328, 338, 350): Ch 1, sc blo across, turn.
Place working lp on a holder in case extra
rows are needed to fit collar around body
edging.

FINISHING
Block all pieces. Holding RS tog, sew
shoulder seams. Sew sleeves to body,
matching center of sleeve to shoulder
seams. Sew sleeve seams, starting at cuff.
Sew body side seams.

Body edging
With smaller hook and RS facing, join
yarn with a sl st in bottom back left side
seam, ch 1, work 64 (70, 78, 84, 92) sc
across back, work 10 (12, 14, 16, 18) sc
across right front, work 105 sc up side
front right, work 12 (10, 12, 12, 12) sc
across neck, work 105 sc down side front
left, work 10 (12, 14, 16, 18) sc across
front left, sl st in first sc to join— 306
(314, 328, 338, 350) sc. Fasten off.

Collar seaming
Holding RS tog, sew collar to body
edging. Fasten off collar once in place.
Sew ends of Collar together. Steam
seams to finish and smooth out any
puckering on curves.
