In Touch
Radio 4, 8.40pm
The strand devoted to issues
affecting the blind or partially
sighted turns its attention to
wellness treatments. With the
global market worth about
$120 billion a year, the
programme features visually
impaired people who are
making a living within this
industry. They include the
yoga teacher Claire Miller
and Marc Norton, who
demonstrates his work in the
area of sound healing. The
presenter Peter White, above,

undergoes a reiki treatment
session and considers how
beneficial these are and how
viable the wellness industry
is as a career for people with
visual impairments.
