YO U SAY
Fantastic: Mary Berry (BBC1, 8pm)
Thank you, BBC4, for repeating Dusty Springfield’s
1960s TV shows. With the range of music genres
she covers, it proves once again her status as our
greatest female singer. I doubt any of today’s stars
would be able to match Dusty’s versatility.
Brendan Murphy
Steam Days (BBC4) remains a benchmark in
sympathetic railway-documentary making. With a
plethora of steam programmes available, perhaps
7pm could be earmarked for “Steam Corner”.
