ore and more restaurants are

mushrooming in Metro Manila, and

it has become a challenge for me

to commit to just one, or even a

few. But in a narrow alley in a little village

in Makati, I bite into my opening course—

which happens to be the most marvelous

soft-serve ice cream—and I am already

confidently making plans to brave the traffic-

riddled, parking-challenged thoroughfares for

a return trip.
