description: The general color of S. samarensis is similar to
S. mindanensis: the upperparts and tail are dark gray, and the
body and the lower surface of the legs are ashy. S. samarensis,
however, is a larger form, with the thighs, the nose, and the
eye region the same color as the dorsal surface. The upper
surface of the feet is dark gray.
