There’s only one way to deal with split ends and
that’s to cut them off. “You must cut them off when
the hair starts splitting — do not wait,” Adam Reed
says. “Hair will carry on splitting up the shaft,
causing weakness and damage, meaning that you’ll
end up having to cut off more.” According to Luke
Hersheson, products that claim to bond hair
together “are a cosmetic touch-up rather than a fix”.
