duodenum (Vietri et al., 2000). The dietary flavonoid quercetin inhibits
metabolism of dopamine, minoxidil, salbutamol, acetaminophen, and apo-
morphine (Marchetti et al., 2001; Vietri et al., 2002). Apomorphine and
salbutamol sulfonation is additionally inhibited by mefenamic acid. Salicylic
acid and apomorphine are known to interact in a similar fashion (Vietri et al.,
2000; Vietri et al., 2002).
