Degrees,gradians,andradiansarevalidangleunitsfortheskewfunctions,while
turnunits,perhapsobviously,arenot.
TheskewXfunctionshearsanelementintheXorhorizontaldirection(seeFig-
ure6.15).Itacceptsasingleparameter,whichagainmustbeanangleunit.Positive
valuesshifttheelementtotheleft,andnegativevaluesshiftittowardstheright.
