shrub, semi-shrub, and mat semi-shrub deserts.^20 Marine ecosystems include
estuaries, inter-tidal belts, saline marshes, mangrove forests, coastal ports,
seaweed beds, coral reefs, continental shelf, and open oceans and islands.^21
