Pete’s unveils multimillion-
dollar transformation
St. Pete Beach’s iconic seaside
escape, Sirata Beach Resort, has
completed its US$15 million trans-
formation with the highly anticipat-
ed reopening of Rum Runners Bar &
Grille, private beachfront lanais, new
breezeway and a south pool area.
The new pool, lounging areas and
upgraded dining option mark the
final touches to its full transforma-
tion, which began earlier this year.
Perfectly situated on an award-
winning beach, Rum Runners’ new
open lounge area features a rustic
bar, cocktail tables, Adirondack
chairs and a fire pit, while the new
Beachwalk path allows guests to
stroll from one end of the resort to
the other. The breezeway patio is
the perfect spot to take in the
resort’s newly designed murals cre-
