Unlocking a Mac via Apple Watch has been
a popular feature since its inception, but
with watchOS 6, that smartwatch-computer
relationship heads to the next level. When users
want to log into iCloud or require a security
prompt, Apple Watch will display Apple ID
verification codes, speeding up the process of
logging in - and ensuring people stay safe on
their Macs.
With the exception of the original Apple Watch,
every Apple Watch model can upgrade to the
new operating system release when it launches
this September. Right now, developers have
