Seasol in Tasmania, where we started.

In fact, all of our manufacturing is done

in Australia, and every component, from

cartons to nozzles, is made here, too.

THESEASOLSTORY

Seasolwasinventedin 1974 bychemist

RalphBayer.Heidentifiedtheamazing

benefitsofbullkelpandcreatedaplant

healthtonicthatproducedimproved

qualityandgrowthinplants.Tenyears

later,intriguedbythebenefitsofSeasol

and itsfuturepotential,entrepreneur

Eric Haynespurchasedthecompany.

Furthertrialsoncommercialcropswere

conductedandprovedtheproduct’svalue

as a seriouscommercialinput,improving

yields,reducingplantstressandproducing

tougher,healthierplants.Eventually,Eric

and hisdaughter,LisaBoyd,tookoverthe

product’sdistribution.Itwasre-packaged

forthehomemarketinthe1990s.With

abackgroundinhealthandnutrition,Lisa’s

visionwastochangethewaywegrow

ourfood.Seasol,anaturalproduct,assists

plantstoaccessthenutrientsboundup

ingoodsoil.Overthepastfewyears,it’s

beenproventhatSeasolhasastaggering

impactonrootgrowthalone.
