ofenergy,usedtopumpanddesalinatewaterfromtheSpencerGulf5kmaway,aswellasheat
and power its sustainable greenhouse facility, and produce upwards of 15,000 tonnes of truss
tomatoeseveryyear.Bygrowingcropshydroponically,SundropFarmsisnotonlyamore
sustainablealternativetoregularfarmingpractices,butisalsomoreproductive,sinceit
canharvestproduceallyearround.Andwithadditionalfacilitiesplanned,it’sproofthat
eventheoldestindustrieshaveroomforinnovation.
